Donkey Hikes

Our guided donkey hikes takes place in Apache Junction with beautiful views of the Sonoran Desert landscape and the Superstition Mountains. Hikes are approximately 2 miles long on flat terrain on wide, groomed trails. Sessions last a little over an hour and include a safety briefing, photo-taking opportunities, and a chance to enjoy the views at a donkey’s pace. Cost

$60 per donkey. Each donkey can be walked by up to two people.

 

Things to know

​

Please note, this is hiking with the donkeys on lead-line. Riding on the donkeys is not permitted, however, they do have pack-saddles and are happy to carry your water, sunscreen, jackets, and other small items.
