Donkey Hikes
Donkey Hikes
Our guided donkey hikes takes place in Apache Junction with beautiful views of the Sonoran Desert landscape and the Superstition Mountains. We also offer donkey walks in Queen Creek, although the views there are not quite as stunning as they are at the Apache Junction location. Hikes are approximately 2 miles long on flat terrain on wide, groomed trails. Sessions last a little over an hour and include a safety briefing, photo-taking opportunities, and a chance to enjoy the views at a donkey’s pace. Contact us today to schedule a private donkey hike or monitor our Facebook page for upcoming group hikes.
Cost
We offer group hikes and private hikes that range from $50-$60 per donkey depending on location (Apache Junction or Queen Creek). Each donkey can be walked by up to two people.
Things to know
Please note, this is hiking with the donkeys on lead-line. Riding on the donkeys is not permitted, however, they do have pack-saddles and are happy to carry your water, sunscreen, jackets, and other small items.
